There are a lot of homeowners who might not understand why it’s so important to have a sump pump installed in their home. If you don’t have a functional basement waterproofing and sump pump installation system in place, your home is in danger of being flooded. Without a waterproofing system, your basement could have leaks which will damage anything you have stored in this area of your home – including old photo albums, clothes, holiday decorations, sports equipment, lawn gear, family heirlooms, and so on. Protect your precious belongings with a sump pump! Also, a basement which has moisture can also foster the growth of hazardous mold which can cause a variety of health problems for you and your loved ones.

Sump Pump Installers
Our sump pump installers know the ins and outs of the installation process and they will be sure that your basement sump pump is installed quickly and professionally so you won’t have to worry about it breaking down during a heavy downpour. We have installed countless sump pumps in homes all over IL, IA, an MO, so you can rest assured knowing that your home’s waterproofing system will be in good hands with us. All of our sump installers have been trained in the best way to go about installing systems in a basement environment.
1. Placing the Sump Pump Liner
The first step in the installation process is to install a sump pump liner. To install the liner, we will dig a hole for the sump pit. Our trained sump pump installers know how big to make the hole for the sump. With a pit too big or small, you can have an inefficient sump pump. After the hole is dug, we will install the liner. The liner helps to shield the sump itself from mud and debris.
2. Installing a Perimeter Drain System
Next, we will install a perimeter drain system to transport the water to your sump pump where it will eventually be directed out and away from your home.
3. The Sump Pump Installation
Next, the sump pump will be installed and connected to the perimeter drain system. We can also install a battery backup sump which can be activated in case the main pump fails or if the electricity goes out.
4. Restore the Floor & Bury Discharge Line
After the sump pump is installed, we will bury the discharge line and fix the floor. We will be sure that there aren’t any gaps between the floor and the sump pump pit.
5. Clean Up
Our sump pump installers will be sure to clean up the work area so that there isn’t any dirt or mess for you to worry about after we leave.
